Position Summary: Provide exceptional customer service to retailers and beverage distributors, while ensuring their compliance with the Third Party Pick-up Program.
Position Location: Grand Rapids based, covering west side of state
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to add, delete or change the duties/responsibilities at any time.)
• Communicate with customers by phone and in person. Receive orders for additional bins, replacement bins and changes in pick-up schedules.
• Address any issues of non-compliance with retailers to ensure a more efficient processing operation.
• Visit customers at their place of business to investigate conditions that cause service disruptions.
• Provide training for retail customers with regard to bin assembly, bin storage and filling bins properly.
• Regularly communicate with Transportation, Dispatch and Administration to ensure quality customer service.
• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with major retail corporate accounts.
• As a Driver Advocate, perform driver ride-along on a regular basis.
• Possess strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.
